Today we eat foods on restaurants, big outlets and eateries. Needless to say, ready-to-make and ready-to-eat foods are also right at our fingertips nowadays. The 90’s kids can surely recall the fun they had with the food items that they used to have during their childhood, for there were limited food products on the market with exceptionally catchy advertisements that’s not to be forgotten easily. Those used to be pretty handy, very cheap and very easy to share with your friends anytime and anywhere. Loads of funs and memories are associated with the back-in-the-days’ foodies.

So here are the lists of 11 Food Products that will remind you of your childhood:

1. AamPachak

Remember the small packet that use to come with grey coloured flat rounded tablets inside? Those sour and salty tablets used to melt right into our mouths the more we chew it. The taste was awesome and mouth-watering!

2. ChatarMatar “Naa Kar Patar-Patar, Kha Le Chatar-Matar”

As their tagline says, these small little red balls are too cute to be consumed, but too interesting to ignore. These sweet and sour pills were perfect for anytime your mouth goes empty.

3. Big Babol

That sweet tasty bubble gum used to be the mouth bubble maker of our childhood. We literally used to compete at whose bubble inflates bigger, which used to end up in bursting out and sticking up on to our nose and chin! Big Babol was all the 90’s kid’s favourite and not to mention a-‘Bade Kaam Ki Cheez’.

4. Mango Bite

The alternatives for mango, since 1989, the Mango Bites were children’s most cherished candy. ‘Made with the goodness of real, juicy mangoes’, ‘Mango Bites’ used to be in every kid’s pocket back then.

5. Nestle Milky Bar

That’s white chocolate indeed but the taste was beyond imaginable. Rich in milk flavour was surely a great alternative for raw milk haters. It was a bit uncommon and odd as chocolate, due to its white colour, but I am sure we all must have tried it at least once during our childhood.

6. Hajmola Candy

The sour-salty-sweet candy of Hajmola was also in the bucket list of our favourite candy. Other than Hajmola’s digestive pills, the brand also came up with Hajmola’s candy version. The same taste with a twist was a must-have for the kids back then.

7. Jaljira

Mix it with water or have it as it is, it was totally acrazed of childhood. It used to be very well-seasoned, spicy and extremely enticing. The juiciest ‘khatta-meetha’Jaljira that we all loved it was a perfect spicy treat back in the days.

8. Boomer

Boomer: the tastiest bubble gum back in the days that used to make our taste buds sweet and delightful. Mouths water up when we used to pass by small shops that kept a jar full of Boomers! Wish we could return back to childhood only to experience that fun we used to have while chewing the ‘Boom Boom Boomer’

9. Polo Mint

Polo Mint – ‘The Mint with the Hole’ deserves to be mentioned in this list. The strong minty flavour along with its fresh mint aroma used to fill our entire mouth leaving us a super fresh feeling. I bet you used to try to poke your tip of the tongue into the hole!

10. Alpenliebe

The creamy candy that used to fill our mouth, making us irresistible to have another one. Alpenliebe tantalizes our taste buds at its best.  To get an Alpenliebe from your parents were like a trophy to us!

11. Cadbury Dairy Milk

Cadbury Dairy Milk is still as popular as before and has further come up with lots of different flavours. But the older version of the milk chocolate was the exquisite of all. For most of us, it used to be the high-end chocolate for most of the kids, only to be shared and eaten on special occasions.

So, these are the 11 food products that will remind you of your childhood. I am sure I am not the only one who used to collect coins in a jar to buy these candies and goodie foodies!
