Govt. of India bans another 43 Chinese Apps

The Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology bans 43 Chinese mobile Apps which is prejudicial for India’s sovereignty, integrity, defence, security & public order.

In a press release, MEITY announced the ban and given the reason that the blocked Chinese mobile apps are the prejudicial threat to India’s sovereignty, integrity, defence, security & public order including Alibaba Workbench, Alibaba Express, AliPay Cashier, CamCard, WeDate, Snack Video, Lalamove India – Delivery App.

From the report received from Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre MEITY announced the blocking of the listed mobile Apps.

Earlier, on the 29th day of June, the Government had banned the 59 Chinese mobile apps including TikTok and on 2 September government were banned another 118 Mobile Apps including PUBG
