West Bengal Transport Corporation or WBTC has come up with a brand-new app keeping in mind these benefits to the passengers. Through the app, passengers can safely book tickets online, additionally as choose beforehand. Tickets will be booked through this app for recreational tours or long-distance air-conditioned buses, special trams, and boat trips.

The new app brought by WBTC is WBTC Ticket Booking. The app was launched on January 26. This app is available on the Play Store and Apple Store. After installing the app, passengers need to create an account. In order to make an account, the mobile number and the OTP in the mobile number need to incline at the required place.

After creating the account, you need to login into the app with a mobile number or email id and password. Then you can easily book a ticket by choosing the bus or other vehicle you want to book. When booking tickets, you have the opportunity to choose the seat of your choice.

According to WBTC sources, 22 routes have been connected to the new app so far. Notable among them are Digha from Barasat, Digha from Karunamayi, Bolpur and Suri from Kolkata, Purulia from Kolkata, Asansol from Barasat, Durgapur and Asansol from Kolkata, Jayarambati from Kolkata and Mayapur from Kolkata. It is learned that the number of routes will be further increased in a few days. However, State Transport Corporation said for short-distance routes tickets can’t be booked in this app.
