Last year had a troublesome one for all folks, but welcome this year with happiness and sweets. there’s no doubt about what proportion we Bengalis are craved for sweets, and particularly the flavour of ‘Nolen Gur’ er Misti. So here is the best way to recover from the past situation and welcoming the new joy. Perhaps, what would be better than the Misti festival. 1. BHIM NAG’S BROTHER SREENATH NAG

This stall is legendary for Sandes, they got especially the Gur-er ‘jol bhora tal sash’, Monohora sandes, Moushumi Sandesh, the long-lasting Dil khus Sandesh (made with Kesar), Gur-er channar payes, Gur-er Kacha Golla, Patisaptta, Gur lava, Punjab roll, chocolate lollipop, and therefore the most significant item among the list is abar khabo it’s made from ‘gur’ stuffed with khoya and dry fruits.

4. JOSODA MISTANNO BHANDAR

They have a total of 21 different items on their menu, but we’ve handpicked some of the best for you. The list goes like this ‘Strawberry Sandesh’, ‘black current’, ‘Dudh puli’, ‘big malai chom-chom’, ‘kheer Sagar’, ‘Nolen gur er muse Sandesh’, ‘Oreo muse Sandesh’, ‘mango jolbhora Sandesh’ (norom pak filed with mango pulp) ‘and guli bomb Sandesh’’, (with a jaggery filling).

 

5. PITHE GHOR

This stall is absolutely gonna surprise you with their un-matched verity of ‘Pithe’ like orange Patisaptta, chocolate Patisaptta, ‘rosogoll-ar payesh’, ‘dab bhapa Sandesh’, and therefore the most interesting ‘chicken Patisaptta’ (salted).

 

6. ADI SRI HARI MISTANNO BHANDAR

It’s a 100yr old brand, they have an outsized variety of sweets at their stall, like ‘gur-er kalakand’, Nolen gur-er rasmalai’, gur-er makha Sandesh’, ‘Dorbesh’, ‘langcha’ and therefore the show stealer is certainly going to be, the ‘2 in 1 chocolate rosogolla’.
