Ever woke up with a sudden jerk, as if you are falling? Or felt suffocated only to wake up confused and realize that it was a dream? Have you ever felt that you got the superpower of flying? Dreaming is as complex as rocket science. Because dreams are a window to your subconscious.

Do you know that dreams are like those clues in a treasure hunt game? Like Da Vinci code. If you could break it, Voila! A treasure. That could even turn our lives around. Fascinating, right? How about we spill some secrets about dreams that no one tells us? Are you ready? All right, brace yourself…

1. Being Chased

Being chased by something means this something could be an addiction or a debt. If a person is chasing you in your dream that person could be a substitute for your characteristics or an indiscretion.

2. Being Bitten By A Snake

The bite could be a manifestation of your fears or faults in real life. It may be a warning to aware your conscious that you should be paying attention to something you have been overlooking for a while.

3. Being Naked In Public

Some dreams are rather confusing. Like this one. But it is quite a common dream to have. It signifies insecurity about your secrets. You might fear that you have opened up too much to someone or shared your secrets with many people than you intended.

4. That You’re Dead

Dreaming the death of a loved one suggests underlying anxiety. You might be feeling anxious about a change or of unknown things. Or when you are brooding over a hunch, you may dream of the death of yourself or a loved one.

5. About Drowning

When there’s too much on your plate. Or when you are juggling too many responsibilities and feel burdened you may dream about drowning. It’s your subconscious telling you how much exhausted your inner being feels.

6. Falling Off A Cliff

This dream signifies a forced change that your mind is not ready to accept.

7. A Date With A Celebrity

It is not any fancy dream but signaling by your mind. It tells you the quality you love about that celebrity and want to inculcate in yourself.

8. You Can’t Speak Or Breathe

It rather sleeps paralysis than a dream. Our mind is in REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep during dreaming. But sleep paralysis is a state between waking up and falling asleep. There are many levels of sleep. Our brain puts our body in paralysis mode during REM sleep so that we do not move around in deep sleep. This particular state is when your brain has signaled the body to remain paralyzed while the brain itself is waking up. That’s why you feel unable to move, speak or breathe. It is rare but painful.

Whatever your dreams are, a healthy lifestyle and a good sleep schedule are medicine to the stressed body and mind. So, try getting a good and peaceful sleep every night.
