Youth faces severe consequences because of valentine’s day every year. Even after spending crores of dollars on ‘abstinence-only’ campaigns in schools, the authorities of some nations are unable to solve the consequences problems of valentine’s day.

WHY WE CELEBRATING VALENTINES DAY!

V-DAY celebration that happened on Feb 14. Its is the day of the year when people celebrate their love and affection toward their mates. This can be done by giving flowers, chocolate and soft toys, valentine’s card or just a simple gift. Symbols of valentine’s day are heart shapes, roses, and cupid with his arrows.

Valentine’s day is named after the martyred Christian saint named Valentine. He was a bishop (Italy) that married forbidden couples. They may not have been allowed to get married because the parents did agree with the connection or because the bridegroom was a soldier or a slave so that the marriage was forbidden. Valentine gave the married couple flowers from his garden. That’s y flower plays a giant role on this day. This did not please the emperor. On 14th Feb 269 AD, Valentine was beheaded because of his Christian faith.

Roughly 16 per cent of the 23-29 age group were ready to ‘take the plunge’ on Valentine’s Day.
